1, SWOT Analysis - Describe and evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses/Limitations, Opportunities, and Threats involved in this company. 1.1, Strengths 1.2, Weaknesses/Limitations 1.3, Opportunities 1.4, Threats 2, Feasibility Study - It is an in-depth look at the project in order to determine whether or not your organization should proceed with its implementation. - Analysis of the current problems, statement of costs/benefits of potential IT-based solutions. 2.1, Operational Feasibility - Whether the system will be used if it is developed and implemented - Whether there will be resistance from users that will affect the possible application benefits – o Does management support the project? o Are the users not happy with current business practices? o Have the users been involved in the planning and development of the project? o Will the proposed system really benefit the organization? 2.2, Technical Feasibility - Whether the required technology is available or not - Whether the required resources are available – o Manpower- programmers, testers & debuggers o Software and hardware 2.3, Economic Feasibility - It is used for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed system. - Analysis of a project's costs and revenues in an effort to determine whether or not it is logical and possible to complete. o Cost-benefit analysis 3, Research and Analysis - Literature Review - Compare and discuss the existing/similar product in the market; - Present the survey/interview results and their implication (if any). 4, Proposed Solution - Discuss the benefits that may be brought by the solution; - Describe and discuss how (1.2 Project Objective) can be implemented using IT; 4.1, Final Deliverable - List all project deliverables.
