This project requires the design of 2 devices:

1. A peripheral vision shield attachable to glasses frames

2. A peripheral vision shield that is self-supporting and does not require being attached to glasses frames

The key criteria for a successful project are:

• Sleek design – the design must be relatively attractive, not being overly clunky or obtrusive

• Comfortable – the frames/shield must be comfortable and easy to wear  should take consideration of head anatomy

- Potentially propose different sizes based on standard head sizes/shapes

• Portable – the frames/shield must be able to be stowed away and carried in a laptop bag or handbag easily

• Durable – the frames/shield should be durable, and the design should be constructed in such a way that the frames will not easily break or incur damage

• Ease of use – the frames/shield should be self-explanatory and easy to use

Attached are sketches regarding potential designs.

Proposed designs:

 Slide-on to glasses frames

 Around head

Additional design ideas are welcome.
