Predict outcome of football matches using machine learning algorithms atleast 3-4 algo

Need to implement this project using various algorithms to predict the winning accuracy of over 75%. The goal of this project is to use machine learning to predict an outcome of football match. Machine learning algorithm is implemented to predict the outcome of English premier league football matches. The target is to achieve accuracy of over 70%. Objectives Predicting the outcome of English premier league which is most popular and followed by people all over the world. Get the accuracy rate of over 70%. Pre-processing dataset to refine the data. Compare different machine learning algorithms and find out the best accuracy. Implement it on various data sets to see the outcome. Investigate the pre-processing of data technique. 1.3 Tasks: The tasks are divided into various categories: Match set to be analysed: There are various factors to be considered like unfair refereeing, match fix. This can make it uncertain and impossible to predict the result. Deciding on key features: pick the key features and execute them. Data extraction: Extract the required data like home and away team, number of cards, season stats to improve the result. Testing various machine learning algorithms: try various machine learning algorithm. We mainly focus on supervised learning algorithms. Random Forest algorithm, Support Vector Method (SVM), Decision Tree algorithm and MLP classifier Improving the algorithm implemented: test various algorithms and improve it by testing it on different data sets. 1.
