Content Editor and Moderator

Job Description Content Editors are responsible for all aspects of content, which includes development, design, production, presentation, evaluation and analysis. Will have to use data and feedback from users to help evaluate and enhance the value of a set of written materials on Lawyered websites and Incourt News App. At Lawyered, we require an effective Assistant Editor, enabling execution in terms of content related aspects : 1. Legal Disrupt - [login to view URL] 2. Incourt News - News Links Responsibilities: Supervise a team of writers and coordinate with freelance contributors. Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax. (Applications : Grammarly, Copyscape, Keywords Everywhere) Ensure that content meets the company or client's needs, and follows our in-house style guide. Organize, modify and update existing content as and when required. Verify content and information for articles and Incourt News both. Work with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience as and when required. Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind, For eg. Article Topics / News Headlines. Manage a busy workload according to deadline. Analyze data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement and retention at Incourt news as well as Disrupt at Lawyered. Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices; working with a team. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. 2-4 years of experience in Editing / Content. Well versed with Tech. based tools. Excellent command of the English language. Writing, copy editing, and proofreading experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Proficient in desktop publishing software. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms.
