WordPress code modification

I am looking for someone to work with on a development of a WordPress blog system. Let me first explain you my project and afterwards where I need your initial help. Zafixo – this is a blog platform for people who seek information how to fix by themselves electronic or mechanical devices. [login to view URL] I built it initially on a shop theme to demonstrate what I want. The website should look like a shop where anyone can look for their problem according to category ,but, I don’t really sell any goods (I am quite sure that another theme without the e commerce option will do the work as well). It is important that when someone enters the front page he will be able to search for his problem according to category, brand or a problem. I installed woocomerce and used products to describe problems that need to be solved. Please see under FIX it (which used to be the Shop button) examples Each category is run by an expert who write the content and responsible for his category and will not be open to the public, unless they want to comment (like a product comment) As you can see I already started by creating two examples of products: 1. Fixing a screen of a Samsung model S6 (category fixing mobile) 2. Replacing a Thermostat (category fixing water and heating systems) What kind of modifications for the existing Theme do I need: 1. Front Page (Home) – This should have the following: a. a direct access to a menu with all categories/products/brands b. I don’t need now a product basket , because we are not dealing at the first stage with products that we sell. 2. At the beginning of the page there is going to be an explanation on the repair process which consist of the below mentioned fields (currently I put a image widget , “this is here the product explanation is”, so you know the place I meant). This is information is changing from product to product according to the data filled in the fields by the category manager. Please refer to the I fix it wenbsite to see how they did it. The fields are: [login to view URL] problem (a brief explanation what the products is about) :for example – How to change a mobile screen ii. The cause of the problem: for example – Mobile phone which falls on hard place or into water iii. How difficult it is (with a scale 1-5) – drop menu iv. How many steps it takes to solve the problem v. Estimated time to solve the problem b. Below the explanation place (point a. above) I need a place for a small image. This image is changing from one product to another . I named it as “this is where a small image is”. It is important that the layout is going to be in such a way that both points a. (the explanation fields ) and the b. the small image would be in the same section as the main product image . c. For each step there is going to be a place on the right side which shows a picture of the step. Again, [login to view URL] did a good job here. d. The bottom of the product page (I used a footer for that although I this is not the right way..) I need to be modified so that the html section will be broader all around as I need the pictures below to be in one line. Each products (how to fix it process ) has different images at the end. I put two pictures but I need eventually place for up to 4 pictures. ii. The color of the bottom (unlike the current footer) should be the same as the color of the page 3. General – I would be happy if you show me how ca I change the colors of the website
