Hi developers, I need script for Raspberry, that will be used for cycling several HTML pages in one fullscreen window. On start, it should connect to predefined URL (example http://server/getPages/devA). It will receive JSON like this: [ {"DeviceName":"DevA","PageUrl":"[login to view URL]","PageOrder":10,"ShowTime":30}, {"DeviceName":"DevA","PageUrl":"[login to view URL]","PageOrder":20,"ShowTime":3},{"DeviceName":"DevA","PageUrl":"[login to view URL]","PageOrder":30,"ShowTime":30} ] Script should start web viewer (of any kind) and start cycling pages. It must automatically recover if requested page is temporarily unavaillable (try it in next cycle). Cycling should last forever, until system shutdown. It must be automatically startable, without user interaction. Thats all. Preffered language is Java or shell script, but can be anything.

Pretty Straight forward task, i can make you a simple script, to which you will be able to save a list of weburls and the program will go through cycling them on the screen ( using selenium and chrome) and i can setup everything ( auto start, the entire reaspberry pi) and provide you with a ready image that you can simply burn into your sd card , save the http url from which my program will fetch the urls, and run it on the pi, no setup required and you will also be able to burn the image as many times as you want. Hi, I can write this using shell script. Shell has curl (with the help of endpoints) which can interact with web pages. But would like to understand that is exactly your requirement. By the way, i didn't understand "cycling pages". I have written shells script for Pi , reading sensor values, fan control etc. Thank You

Hello , it's make me more wonder about your project you said your want refresh that website. and you need script that work with java or shell script. Can you tell me the main purpose in your project?
