Image optimisation of wordpress website and ongoing maintenance This is a trial job for ongoing wordpress maintenance work for a well established business coaching company. We have clients who look to us for marketing advice and support, so for the right person / team, potentially there is an opportunity to do work for them too Right now I am seeking a skilled, versatile wordpress technician to perform ongoing load speed and content optimisation, and to publish new content. Ultimately I want to get load speeds down from 7-9 seconds to below 2 seconds for local traffic by working through recommendations from Google Page Speed Insights and Pingdom. I understand that this may necessitate some content changes and maybe a CDN subscription. -- The Website: [login to view URL] -- The site uses WPBakery / Visual Composer -- The theme is a child theme of Fortuna -- Hosted on local cloud VPS with adequate resources for a small website, but if necessary resources can be quickly scaled up. ======THE TRIAL JOB TASK LIST / DELIVERABLES ====== -- Review existing pages and all put URLS / Titles into Google Spreadsheet -- Present options and recommendation for image optimisation, e.g. which plugin and why plugin -- Backup media folder to folder on server -- Run image optimisation and check for quality -- Review existing compression and compress if necessary Note the site already has w3Cache running. Note the website currently has quite a few static html pages, which we would like included in the initial review part. No need to optimise any images here for the time being. A future job will include porting these to wordpress. The desktop speed is just below par and can easily be increased using some of the very known techniques. What we need from you: 1. Hello Sir, i do speed optimization with satisfaction guaranty. More than 90% performance improvement & minimize load time to 3-4 seconds. I have analyzed the website. It has 4 major problems. 1)Need to Optimize images 2)Defer parsing of JavaScript (low) 3) Need to Serve scaled 7 images 4) Leverage browser caching (low) I can solve this problem by using two premium plugins, 1) Wp-Rocket 2) Wp Smash Pro To solve scaled images, i will resize the photos, then it will be fine. If you are not satisfied with my work, No need to pay me. I will take maximum 1 hour to complete it.
