use my custom C#.Net to change & schedul a text content on Xibo CMS (PHP / MySQL)

Xibo CMS is a an open source “Digital Signage” software programmed using [PHP /

MySQL], with Xibo you can create some custom content pages (called layout) and

run them on different screens (called display) using Xibo client software on a

specific time or according to a schedule.

I want to build a layout in Xibo CMS contains some text, and then use a small

custom application (made by C#.Net) to replace only the layout text and then run

the layout in a specific time.

Xibo CMS has its own API, "scheduleEdit" found in the following link may help to

achieve that (the schedule part):

You may also use the same link to find out how to use the API to change the layout

text.

Conclusion: we need to do the follows:

1. Use the C#.Net application to replace pre-defined text on a specific Xibo layout

with a text came from c#. Net app.

2. Use the C#.Net application to run the above Xibo layout on a specific display

(using Schedule Event) immediately or with specific time (schedule)

Since I don’t have any PHP background I would like somebody to help me doing

this.

If we can do both tasks from database instead of using API no problem, I just

need the job to be done no matters how!
