Simple addition to a simple php project

Hi guys,

I have a simple PHP project which is a website that displays a menu board up on a screen. I need to add a button on the main screen that executes a shell script (which we will write) when it is clicked. Simple I know, but I don't have time to figure it out myself.

This menu board system has an admin section where chef's can select a drop down box and select the menu they want to modify. There are four menus they can modify (Chef's Daily Special, Members Only Special, Asian Specials, Soups Specials Board). I need this button to know what board they are editing, and upon clicking execute one of four shell scripts we will write. It is critical the button returns that the shell script was successful, but does not navigate away from the editing screen.

The plan is that when the chef clicks the button when they have edited the "Chef's Daily Special" for example, the button will execute a script which reboots the devices displaying the Chef's Daily Special, therefore updating the screen.

So if they are editing board "Soups Specials", when the chef clicks "Refresh Screens" the system will execute shell script [login to view URL]

When the chef finishes editing "Asian Special", they will click the button and it will execute [login to view URL] etc.

I expect for anyone who knows php this will be a very quick job.

I will provide the system in a zip for you to test on if successful.
