You cannot reduce the root volume of any ec2 instance, you will have t o setup separate instance with your desired volume and migrate there. NO OTHER OPTION IS THERE BESIDES THIS

Hi, It looks that you will need to play with EC2 snapshot, volumes to shrink the size. It will take me around 15-30 mins to update this. And of course, this action will need your instance have a stop/start. Regards, --T

Hey, I can easily do this for you. It should not take more than 30 minutes with no risk to your data. There will be a downtime for your site though, during the time the data will be moved. Thanks
