I need a PHP script to take an affiliate URL (from browser bar) and parse the elements, then recreate a new URL that can be used anywhere in the page. Here's the example affiliate URL: [login to view URL] The following elements from the example above need to be parsed, as they will be dynamic: [login to view URL] (the domain in the link and can change) 9W598 (first path - will always be included and can change in value) 2CTPL (second path - will always be included and can change in value) SOURCE1 (might be included or missing) VALUE1 (might be included or missing) VALUE2 (might be included or missing) VALUE3 (might be included or missing) VALUE4 (might be included or missing) VALUE5 (might be included or missing) The script must use all the above elements to recreate the exact link, without the /i/ path. So in the example above, it must recreate the link as follows to be used anywhere on the page: [login to view URL] The code must be clean, commented, and be cross-browser tested and compatible.
