php mysql coder to change script

I would like to change the following script [login to view URL] in the following way: 1) I would like to save the results of each search in a mysql database 2) when a CSV is uploaded or a manual search is done we will have to: a. handle special characters such as accents or foreign letters and convert them to standard characters. For example: Bjertnæs will become Bjertnaes, Durán León becomes Duran Leon, Saša Šarunić becomes Sasa Sarunic, John O'neill becomes John Oneill and so on b. the script will also remove any "" or () or any other special character c. there are several other adjustments that I need made but they are more or less the same type of changes.
