Oscommerce Data Import + Edit on some PHP files

PART I: DATA IMPORT / UPDATE / REMOVE ------------------------------------------------------------------- We have 3 different DATAFEED FILES(csv, xsl, txt) to be imported to our new database. You will need to import: 1. PRODUCT CODE 2. PRODUCT NAME 3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS 4. PRODUCTS IMAGES 5 STOCK AVAILABILITY 6. etc You must provide us any application that we can use for long term. The application will be used to import the lastest updated DATAFEED FILES. We will run this application daily. It should: 1. update prices, stock, description if there are any changes on the updated DATAFEED FILES 2. remove products if they are not listed on the updated DATAFEED FILES. -------------------------------------------------------------------- PART II: PHP FILES EDIT -------------------------------------------------------------------- We would like to show the quantity as TEXT instead of INTEGER on the product listings. Ex. Brand | Product Name | Stock | Price | Buy Now Sony Sony DCH94 5.1 MP IN STOCK $555 BUY NOW Sony Sony DCH94 5.1 MP 1-3 DAYS $555 BUY NOW Sony Sony DCH94 5.1 MP 3-7 DAYS $555 BUY NOW Requirement: product_quantity table on OSCOMMERCE database will only accept INTEGER. So, we will make use of 4 numbers: - 1 : IN STOCK - 2 : 1-3 DAYS - 3 : 5-7 DAYS - 4 : CALL - 5 : etc All of them must contains a link(small POP UP window) explaining the meaning of IN STOCK, 1-3 DAYS, 5-7 DAYS, etc Importantnote: When user clicks on CALL, they will be able to send an enquiry email to our email with: 1. PRODUCT TITLE as subject eg. Sony DCH94 5.1 MP - STOCK STATUS ENQUIRY 2. Customer's email / Phone number When you do the data import from the DATAFEED FILES, you may have: - A means AVAILABLE - 35 means 35 units in stock - CALL means 1-3 DAYS - BACKORDER means 5-7 DAYS - etc You need to map all the A, 35, CALL, BACKORDER into Integernya on product_quantity table and then show them as IN STOCK, 1-3 DAYS, etc on the product listings. -------------------------------------------------------------------- ONLY BID IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH OSCOMMERCE AND DATA PROCESSING.
