1.1 PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to modify provided base software to build a mobile wireless remote controller for video cameras, using a Sony’s proprietary protocol wide spread among different vendors. 1.2 PROJECT SCOPE The purpose of this document is to serve as software requirement specification for the required Mobile application to fulfill our needs. Original application englobes different kind of applications that we don’t need at all. We are mainly focused on provided application’s /app/java/[login to view URL] The original project allows to edit each button’s commands , we don’t need this feature at this time same thing with the load and save profiles feature, user visible log file etc. 2. OVERALL DESCRIPTION 2.1 OTA protocol Protocol is plain text with two starting characters and two ending characters delimiting the packet itself. 2.2 Look and feel ( GUI ) and usability Provided Photoshop file should be used as reference for the application look and feel. The application should be used in portrait mode and locked to that mode. The application should be automatically scaled to different android resolutions without losing functioniality. Two kinds of controls should be implemented in the application: - Push buttons - Sliders Buttons : Power button : it should send DOWN and UP commands when pressed or released , B1 and B2 commands should be 11 and 12. F1 F2 , F3 : they should send DOWN and UP commands when pressed or released B1 and B2 should be 13,14 / 15,16 / 17,18. Zoom Speed Buttons: these buttons are mutual exclusive so only one should be active at the time . These buttons should set an application global variable SPEED to one of three values , the values could be constants referring to 1 , 2 or 3. INV : this button should set an application global variable INV to one of two values on or off. The value of the variable should be reflected on the button state ( pushed or not ). Sliders : All sliders are spring loaded and reset to middle position whenever the user stop touching the screen. Reset position should send an UP command whenever the user raise the finger from the screen. 3. Deliverables Integral and compileable source code with latest Android Studio. All references to Nordic company should be removed. The source code should be able to pass all audits from google and be ready to be deployed on google store. Any modification should be committed in the git repository. Git repository should be delivered to be compiled for final validation on our side as a zip file, please don’t use any public repository.
