Check out what our employees say Deputy Glassdoor Position Summary: Deputy requires an experienced Front End Wordpress developer to support the website project and wider marketing team for 2 months. You'll be responsible for the development and maintenance of our company website and landing pages. This is a highly strategic role aimed at delivering the optimal user experience for all visitors. Key Responsibilities: Working with the web design and website optimisation manager to develop new ways to optimise user experience across desktop, tablet and mobile for better conversion to free trial sign up Converting PSD/Sketch designs into functional pages across the site using a combination of HTML, SASS, CSS, JavaScript and Photoshop/Sketch Coding updates to Wordpress CMS and managing website’s database. Testing and QA of website updates Taking a proactive approach to supporting the capability of the site through suggesting continuous improvements Competencies and experience required: Advanced wordpress CMS knowledge incl custom post types and custom fields 'Full stack' developer experience, including design, frontend and backend development, and mobile responsive websites. Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, Twitter Bootstrap 3, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP and MySQL Experience using GIT in a team environment Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Sketch Demonstrated ability to work independently, contribute ideas and follow direction to execute tasks.
