When editing a date, the frontend table always shows 1970-01-01, in the database it is stored correctly though. Probably it has to do something with the Joomla 3.9.4 update.
If I activate development mode, I get the following error:

Create a new table (5 columns x 5 rows). Allow the access rights "administrate table" and "edit", go to frontend, klick the small pen+paper logo above the table and change datatype to "date".
