We are in the process of migrating a PHP ci application VPS in Korea to AWS - (ec2 in subnet with localhost DB)
The Application provides api hooks for an Android (Java) App, and runs off a Mysql DB.
ec2 instance uses a Ubuntu 18.04 AMI with apache2.4, PHP 7.1 and Mysql 5.6 with PHPMyAdmin all running locally.
This was done to best match current environment.
The Business is a food delivery business operating in South East Asia and the original Dev environment was Korean (eg code comments are in Korean) as the Business founder was Korean. The firm I represent bought the Business in Mid June and has been taking over since.
At the moment we need a CI expert to verify that the migration will work once we change name servers and point the domain at the new environment.
So the most immediate quote is to assit the completion of the migration.
You will be given AWS Admin console access, SFTP and SSH access to both the old and new platforms (the old platform is Cafe24 in Korea).
In the very near future we wish to do a top to bottom renovation of the IT platform. The CI application as well as DB schema have many deficiencies, and we want to also move to a more modern host setup using Elastic Beanstalk and RDS Aurora whilst at the same time rewriting the Android in a cross platform React Native. We don't expect you to quote on the second part until you have seen what needs to be done. You will be working with me - and I will handle the DB tier and AWS architecting in co-operation with you.
