Please read ALL the specs before bidding! Here are the goals for the job: - We currently have a simple online shop under Soholaunch that we would like to improve. Our url is [login to view URL] - We want a development under Joomla+virtuemart. Proposals for Drupal + Shopping cart or OScommerce might be considered but not preferred - We currently operate 4 shops with independent domains but the contents and products are very similar except for different languages and currencies. All the domains are hosted under only one hosting provider - You are expected to design the new template, migrate the content and show a fully functional website this is not a “design only project” - We want this project to be finished in 4 weeks. Some more detailed specs: - You will have to create a template for Joomla following the actual design - The content structure will be the same than in current website (no more than 20 pages) but needs to be flexible so that we can publish more pages in the future –that is why a template is needed- - A few simple pages/forms (no more than 10) will have to be designed: newsletter subscription, promotions, links to our other domains - We will work with you on the layout as it might slightly change (2 columns, 3 columns) - You will have to create the .htaccess with 301 redirections for actual pages (10 pages) - The needed databases are: products (several categories, no more than 50 SKUs), users, orders, we will populate those but your support might be needed for the initial setup - The website layout, structure and databases have to be replicated on the 4 domains, then we will modify the texts to appear in the right language as well as the prices, currencies and shipping options and costs. This should be very easy; once you have the main site up and ready, a joomla export content plugin can be used to replicate. - No flash is needed. Notes: This website is about a type of pork meat in case you have any cultural or religious concerns about the topic. You will have to be able to SPEAK English (or Spanish) vs only write it and be able to TALK on the phone (we will call you, do not worry about the cost) or Skype or Gtalk. Given the amount of unfinished projects in freelancer, upfront payments are not accepted. Once we hire you we will pay in three times 25%, 25%, 50% upon completion of the different stages of the project. The 10% highest bids will be immediately rejected. Only bids that include examples of your work in joomla and an estimation of hours to complete the job will be accepted. We are based in China, therefore it is easier to interact with providers in Asia.
