I would like to create a web site that compiles all Rural Houses in my country. This site will be a place where users will be able to register, browse, search, rate and rent rural houses posted on our site. Owners will be able to add their own rural houses so that they are easily added to the system. Please, check doc attached for a more detailed description of site. The development tool / platform will be: PHP/MYSQL, Ajax, HTML (W3C Compliancy, using divs/css, and no table design) Knowledge and use of AJAX is a must for this project, as well as W3C no table design. Design: The site will also be developped with full W3C Compliancy, without using table tags, only css/divs/xhtml. The design has to be very user friendly, clear and elegant. Usability is a stand. Check sites done by [login to view URL] to check what I mean with usability and use of Ajax. Features for this site: - Multi language site. We’ll be able to add a new language to the site easily. In the beginning we’ll have only three: English, Spanish and German. I’ll do the translation into Spanish - 2 types of registration. Users and owners of rural houses. - SEO friendly site - Browse rural houses and lodgings in 18 regions in our country - Search for rural houses in every province, city, specific protected areas (natural parks, etc) in our country - Owner’s area. Owners will be able to add/edit/delete new houses to the database previous to being registered as an owner. Owners browsing the site will be able to claim ownership of any of the rural houses so that they can add/edit information of that house (his identity would need to be confirmed) - Subscription plans. Owners will be able to upload as many sites as they want, but there will be subscription plans for that. - Online payment and reservation of houses - Forum, help & faq area - Levels and point, together with an admin area to offer and grant prices - Create leaderboard linked to level. This will be a ranking page where we’ll show users that rank the best amongst all of them. - Invite your friends to join us - Classifieds - Contact page and forms - Newsletter subscription and administration.
