The company has 3 main OSCommerce websites that they want to bring together onto 1 central point of sale system in the shop to manage the sales within the
shop and MAYBE phone orders.
PART 1 ****
So basically this is how we want it to work, this all needs to be an offline version so running PHP/MySQL/ on windows would probably be the best option.
- Open the system...
- Main page with 3 pricing options - Public / Trade / Internet Trade.... click a pricing structure....
- Then either Catalogue 1 / Catalogue 2 / Catalogue 3... (these are the 3 different offline sites)
- Then clicking this should take you to an offline version of the OSCommerce store minus the header of the normal store. So it would just show the product
listings. Basically we have spent alot of time developing the online stores so we want to keep the existing structure due to the nature of the business it is
also a very technical product.
So up to now all we need is all of the sites offline and maybe 3 copies of each side for each pricing structure?? So that's reasonably simple.
PART 2 ****
Instead of normally after clicking the add to cart button taking you through the online process we want it to add the item to a cart and then when you click
checkout it says either Shop Sale / Phone Sale
Shop Sale - should just then select the payment method and print out the receipt... reasonably easy
Phone Sale - slightly more complicated should then ask for customers address (via postcode) and print out a receipt like a normal online order. It should
then ask for the credit card information but this SHOULD NOT be recorded in the MySQL database, just printed.
Ok so the project is basically just taking what we've got and making a few modifications. I could do the first part of it but I'd like a programmer who's
prepared to work with me on MSN at an hourly rate for this project to complete part 2 and help where needed. I'd like to try and get this done ASAP.

I have an even better idea, why not run it by your client. How about a drop down box on the rop of the admin panel that would let you basically switch databases for store. Simple neat and clean no?
