Process online counter graphic, convert to text

I need an online application (preferably PHP or PERL) that I can pass the following sample URLs to... [login to view URL]~fc/xataka2 [login to view URL]~fc/FlickrBabes [login to view URL]~fc/neatorama [login to view URL]~fc/netstumbler [login to view URL]~fc/Tech-Buzz ... and the application will process the image data and generate the text equivalent of the number contained in the counter. In other words, if the reader count displays [43099], the app should generate "43099" as the output. When the number exceeds 100,000, they use a "K" to designate x1000, so for example, you'll sometimes see the Feedburner chiclet say [439k] meaning 439,000. I just wanted to point that out because it's the only non-numeric character to look for. The above counters operate on a very limited character set, so it should be very predictable by analyzing the image data and not require any fuzzy OCR-type approach. Hit counter samples containing all 10 numbers (0-9) and the "K" will be provided to the winning coder, or most of them are probably already available in the sample image URLs above. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
