PHP/SQL List/Tree Menu
Hello,
Please read throughouly, replies such as "I can do it or "can be done" will probably not get you this job. I would like to see PMB's of why you are qualified and if you have experience with menus.
I am working with the PHPKB v6 knowledge base script and need a pure php (no javascript) collapsing / expanding unorderd list based tree menu.
1. The menu should show all category / sub category / article links in the proper hiearchy in a list based menu structure (XHTML valid).
2. The menu should not require javascript to expand and collapse.
3. The menu should have a css class for the "current" location, (persistant state, link marker, whatever you want to call it).
A perfect example of what I'm looking for is this Template Monster osCommerce template.
Turn javascript off in your browser and study how the left "Categories" menu works and stays highlighted depending on which page you are on.
Notice if you click a category and then click a product inside that category, the link stays bold.
Screenshots of the PHPKB db tables:
This php file works but does not show the articles and will not expand or collapse without javascript.
Please note the folder structure (this is done by SEO in the KB):
Categories: [login to view URL]
Articles: [login to view URL]
Thank You
James
