Stagecoach Software publishes www.propertynerd.com.au. Our website contains millions of profiles of residential properties in Australia (e.g. [login to view URL]). Our MySQL database contains hundreds of millions of rows of data which are relevant to predicting sales prices for those properties. This project is to build a capability to display an estimated current value for each of the properties we profile. We have already retained an experienced and qualified data scientist from Sweden who has developed a price prediction model in R. We now need a developer who is proficient in R and Ruby to convert the R code into ruby and work with the current data scientist to ensure the ruby code is accurate. The ideal applicant will be one who is also experienced with Ruby on Rails and can create a function on the app to display the calculated price on the existing prices graph via a D3.js script. A higher fee will be paid to the freelancer who can do this additional task. The existing code is fully commented and will be provided to suitable applicants.
