I work in a sports centre with a swimming pool as a manager. We (Myself and other 3rd party) (separate to work) would like to create an app that has the ability to view/utilise and link with Google sheets and other spreadsheet integration for cloud based and local/offline use that has easy data input and retrieval with a more user friendly front end UI also including the ability to help people to problem solve based on data entered and calibrations pre set.
E.g. a user enters their pool chemical readings it then advises them how to rectify problems. the main use for this idea is for data entry of pool test results and other standard and user defined checks that can be tracked over time possibly through visual representation in graphs for example which can be made through the spreadsheet back end. Also potentially for Chemical stocks tracking and ordering through an email or messaging user interface that links to the chosen messaging platform, be it email, direct messaging, etc.
The sections that I envisage are:
- Pool Test Results - Showing Chlorine reading, Acid/pH, Pool water Temp, Poolside Air Temp, Humidity for any given day chosen as a quick view by just entering a date. - (ability to show prompts for whether a result is good or bad)
- Chemical Supplies Tracking view with an ordering button/link as briefed above.
- Water Balance Test Results calculator - (ability to show prompts for whether a result is good or bad)
- Back Wash and Water Dump volume calc with a calc section on compliance for PWTAG Regulations.
Ability to automate a notification either via the mobile device and or via an email about the results and chemical supplies quantities to prompt ordering, etc.
A web interface would be a great addition which could be linked through a pre-made website
User accounts ability to restrict/allow subscriptions
