E-commerce advertising guru with extensive experience in Instagram + other platforms, to lead marketing for two e-commerce shops

We are looking for a social media advertising guru to launch two e-commerce shops (one a print-on-demand Etsy shop and one a herbal tea store on Shopify), both initially targeting the US and UK. We do not have any social media presence at the moment, and need to go zero to sixty. We will be starting with the Etsy shop (it goes live this week, and so we want advertising to start ASAP) and then the Shopify store in September. We are experienced business development consultants, specialising in marketing and technology but seek to outsource the advertising side so we can concentrate on management and other businesses and ventures. You will be managing our marketing plan across multiple platforms (IG, FB, Etsy, Google), which of course involves managing social media accounts. To be clear we are looking for professionals with extensive experience in at least three of the below: - Instagram advertising - Facebook Ads - Etsy Promotional Advertising - Google AdWords And possibly: Pinterest Ads and Twitter You will need to create the adverts from scratch, choosing when to do animations, videos or still photos, and be very knowledgeable of current advertising trends, key words, and what sells. You will need to be confident and happy to lead this area, while also working with our team. Lastly, attention to detail, excellent English and being able to manage yourself is key so we can trust you to get us up and running without micromanagement. As a minimum requirement to be shortlisted, in your cover letter please describe in detail in the following order: Your experience with social media advertising, how many years you have worked in this area, describing how many businesses you’ve worked with, and what advertising platforms (any others you would recommend?) Proof of your advertising success, e.g. percentage conversion for your ads, sales increases from your campaigns, etc. We need a seasoned professional with a clear track-record. Your experience with e-commerce advertising in particular Your internet speed Your approach to creating adverts (software, design, market research, etc.) Your proposed advertising plan/strategy for advertising our Etsy shop, with consideration given to the holiday season + estimated cost/hours. The Shopify will be later. How many hours a week you have available Questions for us Please give 3 quotes: a quote to create a serious advertising plan/strategy, a quote to implement this plan (i.e. do the necessary research, set it all up) and finally a quote for continued maintenance per month. We have a competitively priced freelancer already who can do any basic grunt work like setting up of social media accounts etc. to help manage costs. The contract is meant to be on-going if things go well – we have several businesses in the pipeline and a small but solid dream team, and would like you to be part of it. For long-term maintenance, we would like you to work with our existing team to coordinate sales, delegation of tasks, strategies, new products, etc. We look forward to working with you!
