Trivia Web Game Update (javascript timer synchronization on multiple devices)

I have a trivia game which is web based. It allows multiple people to register and host a trivia game. The trivia game has a waiting room component where it instructs players to visit the website on their mobile phones, and enter a room code to join the game. Once a player has joined, the waiting room screen changes and cycles through the trivia questions. The users mobile web browser also displays the trivia questions. There is a 10 second timer for each question. The game is fully functional, but the problem is that the timer does not synchronize well between the admin screen and the player screen. This project is to make sure all of the timers synchronize regardless of which web browser or how many devices have the game open. I believe this will require a javascript timer synchronization.
