I Need help in contributing to Apache open source project preferably related to the Big Data technologies. By the end of this project should be able to complete on JIRA that got merged with the code base. Here are few highlights,

1. Identify a JIRA/Project

2. Complete code changes

3. Do needful to close the jira

I have development background experience and explored TIKA/HBase/Spark projects. Since i am doing this first time need some one's help who had prior experience.
