Hi,
I'm working on an artist project with a large quantity of files that are to be prepared for print. Up to now I worked mostly alone, but I reached the part which i don't know how to solve. I would really like to get some help and that - as soon as possible.
Here is the task:
There are a total of 16000 files that are plain text in txt and need to be converted to html. The html output needs to have specific formatting where the filename of the txt file becomes <div class="head"> and the txt string becomes <div class="poem">
Very simply the structure of html should be:

<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<div id="content">
<div class="head">filename</div>
<div class="poem">
text from file*.txt with <br> preserved
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>
After all the files have been converted and formatted they should be combined, so to make one single html of all 500 txt files where the hierarchy of div classes is preserved.
Up to now I succeeded in making the conversion from txt to html in shell and manually adjusting the html file to fit the purpose. However, this is not doable in this quantity of files so I need someone who can write this js script for me.
An example of txt file can be found in the attachment.
And as a reference all these files will be prepared for print using an open source html2print tool.
