center google map pin when zooming out

The theme i'm using is wpresidence.net. All the pins have a fixed size of 44x48 px. The size is not set for design purpose and is somehow a must for the pins to display the right location. I want to use any size of pin image, ex. 16x16, 32x32, and still keep the pin where they should be. I did everything i know but the pin gets offset when zooming out. So offset that on the maximum zoom the pin is almost in another country. Thank you.
