build a sidebar-menu for a website

Your task is to code a HTML/CSS/JS side-menu for my website. A detailed description of the appearance and functions of the website can be found in the attached PDF file. Of course, only the part of the documentation with the sidebar is relevant for you. At first you only have to implement the layout, the accordion function and scrollbar. The javascript for evaluating the checkboxes and creating the website can be done later by me. Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JS Since my website shows charts created in "D3.js", you are can make use of its functions. Furthermore I will use Twitter's "Boostrap" on the main layout. So you can also make use of its features. However, I do NOT want to use jQuery under any circumstances. It is important that your code works on Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, on all up-to-date browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and on most mobile devices. Just resize your browser's viewport a little bit. I can set up a private GIT repository at github and provide web space if needed.
