Obscure CSV File Creator/Editor

This project is to allow for the generation and editing of a particular type of CSV file. Background Information ---------------------- The file in question is called the SH1 file, and it along with other types of file is described in the following document. We are only interested in the generation of the SH1 files - the description of other types of file in the below doc can be ignored. [login to view URL] Please see the following sections in this document that describe this file: Section 3.4 File Size Limits Section 3.5 File format Section 4.1 File Header Section 4.3 File Footer Section 5.1.1 SH1 - End User Specific Instruction (EUSI) Format Note that this system is only for the generation of SH1 files and ignores all inbound files - eg SI7, SI1, SI2, SI3, SI12. Note that the SH1 file is the only outbound file described by this document. Deliverables ------------ A PHP web-based program that allows the user to: - Select and read an SH1 file from a directory for editing purposes - Validate that the file is correct, and output error messages if not. - Create a new file from scratch allowing for addition of any number of lines - For each line that is added; use text, dropdown controls to enter each field. - Fields to be validated for optional/mandatory - Fields to be validated for Numeric/String - Fields max lengths to be enforced - For new Lines; each field to have a configurable default. Date/time fields to default to the current date/time. - Allow new or edited SH1 file to be saved including header and footer. - Filename rules as described in doc to be respected.
