a mock-up for an international travel company.

I am looking for ideas for the layout of a website for a travel company. the company is based in the United States, but plans to do tours internationally. Specifically it plans to do tours in developing countries to start out with. It is called go big tours where BIG stands for "Before It's Gone". the idea being that we are going to promote the things that are in some way endangered. weather it be animals, culture, architecture, ways of life, etc.. the tours will most likely start off as 10-day to two week-long tours. The tours will hopefully have different options for different interests. However, the tours themselves will be utilizing the same Transportation likely 15-person buses. the initial countries we are looking to go to our Bolivia and Nicaragua. I would like it to be tailored towards 30-somethings and up. this is not meant for Spring Breakers or Backpackers. it is also not targeting very wealthy Travelers. I would like the interface to be simple minimizing the amount of pages per tour. the only specific idea I have is having a spinning globe with with the countries that they are tours offered highlighted. I know that is not much of a design structure, but it is what I've got so far. I am open to suggestions for layout. I will obviously need some because I have suggested very little. I am wanting a website that will tell people about a tour that they never knew they wanted to take. They might have wanted to go somewhere but perhaps the places we are suggesting we're not on their radar. the locations we go to may be considered adventurous, but I would not consider this adventure traveling. after all it's going to be largely by mini buses. there may be some adventurous options for people to do, but the tours are not targeting bungee jumpers, skydivers, or rock climbers. however, the tours are going to bake some fairly exotic and perhaps adventurous things available to the people on the tour. For instance, it may be going to the crater of an active volcano so people can look down and see the lava. However, they will be driven to the crater. I look forward to seeing the proposals.
