Thank you for the opportunity to bid on your job After looking at the files provided your concerns are correct. This will not print right. 1./ The files are in RGB (not CMYK) - If this is being printed litho on a offset press then the files need to be in CMYK - If its being printed on a digital press then RGB is ok 2./ If it is being printed on a digital press the RGB colours on your cover page are not in accordance to the RGB colour breakdown in your logo guide 3./ The cover file logo has turned from vector to raster (bitmap) which explains the blurry look and again the colours are not in accordance to your logo guide 4./ If you did start the art with original vector work then that would be helpful to reduce time to fix 5./ No bleed added 6./ Page 2 of your cover file (Table of contents) the logo is blurry because again its rasterized (not vector) with the same colour problems as above AND the text are all outlined. Outlined text is a problem because it makes any and all future changes very difficult More question? -was this created all in illustrator? -# of pgs? Overall this is a simple job for me. I can make you PRINT READY PDFs that your printer will have no problems with thats colour accurate to your logo guide specifics with bleeds. If you can tell me how its being printed (press/paper/book binding) I can instruct you on how to communicate that to your printer so theres no confusion and you'll be happy with the final printed and bound books.
