I would like to hire someone to design a new dating app aim specifically at the Muslim population. It should incorporate many of the features that are currently out there but with a twist.
Several of the ideas I need included are:
1) location based swiping, super likes, but we will rename this
2) individuals have the option to swipe incognito to protect identity. This will be limited to females, they can hide their picture, if they match, it is automatically revealed to the man without him asking to see the picture. Once revealed, the man has option to confirm the match, if he confirms, then lady is sent notification of match, otherwise it disappears.
3) filter profile by characteristics such as height, ethnicity, age
4) we want to move away from the hook up culture and so female can have the option of having a chaperone; their parents or guardians will get weekly emails of contacts made on the app.
5) people can talk in different languages and have conversation automatically translated into the other language
6) there will be a 24 hour limit to reply to messages. Girls make the first move as in tinder, otherwise women will get bombarded by messages. Thereafter the male has 24 hours to respond. If there is no response, the match disappears.
7) users should be able to verify identity by sending in a selfie
8) there will be premium and basic users. Premium users will be shown first to users and other such perks.
9) there should be a guardian or parent swiping option. Ie. Parents swiping on behalf of their adult children.
The app has to be clean and crisp.
It will be a fusion between bumble and muzmatch
Admin interface
As an administrator of the app, there will be many useful data that needs to be caught and analysed. I should be able to gather information on users age, location, how many passes and likes they have. This data will be useful for targeted adds which will appear.
