Summary:
*Lightweight, user-friendly HTML form (configuration menu):
*Dropdown menus and some kind of large toggle/radio buttons/checkboxes for switching between 2 or more options easily. No large text inputs will be needed.
*Design should be simple enough for me to add/remove elements as I need and consider that I will be spawning/removing multiple instances of the full form in the same page
*Little CSS/JS, understanding my need to embed all into one single page. No external scripts/css.
*Style: black, dark, glossy, sleek, rounded, modern, chrome
*Emphasis on simplicity. Better to be very lightweight and clear than to be complex with excessive styling.
I need a simple HTML form designed to be used as a basic configuration menu, with a few dropdowns and choices between 2-3 options. These should be very user-friendly, with large easily-clickable/tappable buttons and toggles. It would be great if I could add a tiny info label where necessary. Assume that I will be 'spawning' and deleting multiple instances of the form as the user adds/removes them, so keep that in mind when designing (this is NOT part of the job, I will write that JS).
The challenge is that I want it to look very neat and slick, but with minimal bandwidth consumption and complexity. Rounded corners, hover cursors, all that good stuff.... Bear in mind that there must be NO external dependencies at all; assume no internet connection is available, and prioritise small file size and simplicity. All styling will be stuffed into <head> in one single page. Preferably no javascript or icons, or as little as possible.
The included image should NOT be used as a strict layout guide. It should give you a basic idea of my needs but you have complete freedom in the layout (I'm here because I'm terrible at design after all!). It can and should be less crammed, but a mobile browser should be the priority. It should be simple enough that I can modify it to my needs - for example, adding another checkbox or dropdown menu later if necessary. Also included is an image with a few images to give you an idea of the style/theme I have in mind: black, glossy, modern, chrome, etc.
