Objective This requirement draft is to provide the team full insight for the African restaurant courier service website and to also help develop an approach for implementation. Deliverable & Functionality This website will be user friendly to customers and they should be able to place an order with partnered restaurants, make a payment and get their order delivered as soon as possible with the help of the website. Functionality (not design) should be similar to that of [login to view URL] Breakdown • Upon arrival to the website, Customer should able to enter his/her zip code or address • Partner restaurants names within 15 miles radius should be populated after address has been entered • Customer should be able to click on desired restaurant to place an order • Menu list for the customer’s desired restaurant should be available and Customer should be able to pick from the list and add them to the cart • After item has been selected, Customer should be prompted to sign up for an account or log into their existing account • Order summary should be generated after customer has fully logged into their account • The order summary should have the grand total of the order which includes total cost of selected items, calculated tax, delivery fee and Tips given to the driver. Please see attached picture for reference • Delivery fee should be calculate at the rate of $1 per mile • Customer should also be able to confirm order item, Tip for driver and delivery address in the order summary screen • After order summary have been generated and address has been confirmed, customer should be able to click the place order button to make a payment • Payment screen should come up and customer should be able to enter their desired form of payment (MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover) • After payment has been successfully made, Order should be place and an order number should be generated for the customer’s order • After order has been placed, the restaurant should get notified via email, fax or text with the exact list of items the customer selected on the website for the meal to get prepared • The driver should also get an order notification via text message with the order number, customer’s name and phone number, name and address of the restaurant, list of items and the customer’s address • Driver should be to reply “Completed” to the text message after customer’s order has been successfully delivered
