We are seeking to develop a website for managing an existing vacation homes rentals we are currently using a cloud system but would like to create our own that is similar in nature that allows us to manage the properties, calendars, reservations, clients, leads, payments...etc
The system will connect to a payment gateway (API is simple and will be shared)
The system will connect to an API to get and push rates and availability of the assigned properties
The development will need to be non WordPress (prefer PHP MySQL)
The assigned freelancer/company need to have performed similar type work especially demonstrating effective database driven websites with API calls that are not cookie cutter or template based driven (wordpress sites are limiting and will not work for this project)
The front end will be for customers to view profiles, interact, book, inquire, modify reservations..etc
The back end will have users that have different access levels, Admins, Managers, Property Owners ...etc
The back end will be used to do two things:
Manage the content of the website front end
Manage the actual properties prices, calendars, specials
Manage Leads
Run reports
Manage setup items. booking rules, etc
The assigned freelancer will be given a structure to work with in terms of DB, views, workflows. etc that will make it easier to better understand the back end and how it will work
