Need a google spreadsheet script to import from a csv via API

An owner of a site provided me with API access to their data. Their instruction is as follows: HTTP HEADER: Name “XYZ-authentication-Token” Value: “xYxYxYxYxY” Basic query address: [login to view URL] Query example: [login to view URL] (I will give you the actual thing of course). So I currently use it to download a .csv file., with 8 columns and an ever-increasing number of rows. I manually identify the new rows, copy them from csv and paste it to a google spreadsheet at the end of the table. I need a script which will do it for me from the google spreadsheet without my intervention, e.g. on the daily basis.

Hi there, I will be happy to help you with that. We will create a script that runs daily using a time driven trigger. It will create an HTTPS request with the authentication header, download the CSV file and read the data from it. Then it will compare the rows in the CSV file and those exist in the spreadsheet and add the new rows at the end of the sheet. I will be happy to address any of your questions! Sincerely, Mohamed
