Seeking a Part time administrative billing and accounting/payroll staff member. We are a small (50+ employee) that manages a company of approximately 50 employees. Compensation: Depending on Experience, health insurance 90% paid (1st of the month after 60 days), 401k with 4% matching and immediate vesting (after 4 month of service), birthday pay, Christmas pay, and other bonuses and benefits.
Hours are on a set schedule, employee's choice, between 9am-4pm daily (ex: you pick 8-4:30 with a ½ hour lunch, or 9-6 with a 1 hour lunch).
This is an extremely busy position that requires:
• Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (you will be tested on your Excel/Word knowledge and expected to create spreadsheets with formulas, format letters, etc), Quickbooks (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE), be able to navigate networks and shared drives, etc).
• Payroll experience - specifically with prevailing wage.
• An incredible attention to detail. We want files named precisely as they are currently named in our systems, papers filed under the exact job and contractor that they belong to, and wage rates matched to the number and decimal point in multiple systems. Double and triple checking is encouraged. Please don't send us a resume/cover letter with spelling typos.
We are a good contractor in the construction industry, and as such, you will hear colorful language. some days will be light and easy, and others will be intense and frantic. We like to goof off when we can but we also jump in to the deep end when needed! The office is friendly and tight knit and very open (shared space).
