Meddbase HTML Patient Letters

Issue We need to be able to send patient correspondence in an un-editable format. At the moment we are using word template letters which we manually edit for content but when sent to patients/GPs etc these currently remain editable word docs. If we want to send as PDFs we have to download each document save as a separate PDF on the computer and then upload back onto Meddbase -there is no function to make a word document un-editable/lockable on Meddbase. Whilst there are HTML templates on Meddbase these are not user friendly for staff and templates are currently not set up correctly. The correspondence that requires HTML templates Patient correspondence GP letter Clinician letter Patient letter There are HTML versions of these letters (found in the same place as above) - the formatting of these is not correct and they have not been updated with the necessary data fields. We had been working with Meddbase to create a new template the last one I believe was called TEST TO FIX TEMPLATE 2, but before I went on furlough I was still having issues with this as the formatting still wasn’t quite right and there seemed to be a bug-so they were not saving onto patients records and when emailed patients were not receiving the updated/edited letters. Meddbase were investigating this through support…but I am unable to log in to see where they got with it but the template still doesn’t look right. Solution We either need a HTML version which matches the word templates which also include a WC logo in the top right corner. I have attached the 3 word templates that have the correct formatting and data field entries. We would need to be able to edit to add the letter content but then send them via email/portal to the patients as uneditable documents.
