The deliverables are ticket sales and sponsorship sales paid on a commission of: 7% from £0 - £85 000 10% between £85 000 and £170 000 15% over £170 000 We're looking for a freelance sales person who would call from our list of English and French speaking warm contacts from around the world. Our company is Konect Group [login to view URL], a business consultancy that also organises an event - the West African Power and Energy Cooperation Conference [login to view URL] We've recently relocated and postponed the event to the 11-13th September 2019 in Dakar, Senegal The event is focused on power and energy in west Africa. The electrification rate there is very poor; half the population is without access. There is also a lack of grid infrastructure. However regional bodies like ECOWAS - Economic Community of West African States and WAPP - the West Africain Power Pool have recently obtained large amounts of funding from the US and the UK amongst others and are looking to change this. They have their own meetings where they have the regional country energy ministers deciding on the regional plan for power. Our evert is a follow on from that. We're positioning ourselves as the unique reference platform for the region for this subject as we will not only have the energy ministers from the region, but also the private sector which will be looking to invest as well as collectively make resolutions to carry forward to other meetings. There is also a competition for the best regional SME to encourage this development. Companies with an innovative product are invited to join - things like companies selling mini grid solar projects The tickets are currently priced at £1249 for regular and £1899 for VIP We're looking to sell 250 to 300 of these. We have a website that can take/track ticket orders/payments and generate invoices We have an Intranet Sharepoint database that contains our contacts and where the freelancer will track his/her sales progress.
