Job Brief (short): Looking for excel VBA expert to help us automate repetitive tasks we do in excel for keyword research. Final deliverable must work on both Windows Office & Mac Excel 2016. We use OneDrive, so if any external data sources are required, must be OneDrive (not Google Drive) compatible.
Requirements
• Excel VBA & Macro expert
• Combine multiple sheets into 1, delete duplicates
• Delete extra columns
• Filter range, then insert row breaks between certain ranges
• Conditional formatting based on if cell contains text string from a list
• Advanced sort (by cell color, then by column x values, then column y values)
• Use n-gram analysis to show frequency count & aggregated data
• Final deliverable must work on both Windows & Mac Excel 2016
What our spreadsheets will include:
4K+ keywords
Search Volume
Group (manually to be grouped by us, but is sped up with n-gram & conditionally formatting)
N-gram details:
Based on keyword data in spreadsheet after 1st macros organize, remove duplicates & finish sorting. Want ability to view n-gram keyword cluster data. In short say keyword phrase is “men shirt” (bigram), want to view combined data (search volume, frequency count, etc) & compare against “shirt” (unigram). This allows us to focus on most relevant & high traffic keywords, not just keyword phrases.

I would be happy to help with your very interesting project. I have over 10 years experience with excel and vba at a global financial services company where I automated many processes to improve efficiencies.
In answer to your questions:
1) yes, as part of my job and freelancing. I recently automated a persons daily stock trading form which will be of help here
2) yes, I can include these in the front page
3) given the size of the task, this may take quite a while. I’m buttering around 20 hours over the course of the week to create, test and debug. But I will endeavour to provide back within a week for review
4) I am available to work large portions during weekends and approximately 2-3 hours each weekday after my day job
5) absolutely. I predominantly work on a Mac but have a windows laptop available to test. The project wouldn’t use other office applications which is where Mac programming usually falls down so I’m positive this wouldn’t be an issue.
