Hello. Will the data for this project always be from Reuters? Their HTML looks decently structured, but that can only be an assumption (if the html IDs are unpredictable, then this will be a more complex project).
Do you have an example/context of the 500+ rows needing to be extracted? (This might fall into that category of unpredictable IDs).
My plan is to create a C# (and possibly some F#) library that will do all of this processing, and yes, you will be given the code. It will be editable/manageable via the free Visual Studio 2017 Community edition (I'll provide a link). Additionally, we can connect the solution to Excel via a .net component called Excel-DNA. There is one catch to this, however, I only have a free Excel viewer, and I won't be able to test the interaction between the code and Excel b/c the free version does not support Add-Ins, but the main issue with that is confirming that I can provide you with the files that you put on your computer to make that solution work; in other words, mainly we confirm deployability.
I would like to try out several links to confirm the variability won't be an issue, and test a mock application to ensure communication with Excel before I finalize the scope or before accepting the project.
