Beverage Price Check 2019 - Kuwait

We're currently recruiting for a freelancer position to conduct a non-alcoholic beverages research project in Kuwait. We need a freelancer to visit different stores and outlets to collect information on non-alcoholic drinks for sale. The stores we will require are retail and on-trade – so a mixture of supermarkets, convenience stores and cafes, bars, fast food and restaurants. You need to be able to access a wide range of products. We will derive from this data, an analysis of the price differences between off-trade and on-trade. This project is global and we are covering many countries. In short, the task is to visit stores and other establishments to collect prices for non-alcoholic beverages from a defined list of brands and SKUs (i.e. products) in both the on-trade and off-trade channel, and enter the information into an Excel sheet. The task is straight forward (e.g. visit a store and write down the prices for beverages) as long as there is sufficient time and effort put into the research. We recommend you phase out the research and break it down into multiple occasions as there are a number of channels to cover and we must ensure we cover them ALL thoroughly and equally. For each channel, it’s advisable to visit the biggest chains to ensure you are gathering nearly all the information in 2-3 store visits. You can also conduct secondary research to complement the data and cover E-commerce. The minimum requirement is to cover 50% of “critical brands” and 40% of “non-critical” across each segment and channel. On the Excel, column AA will indicate if a product is critical or not. Fee is 500 GBP upon successful completion of the project. Due to the deadline approaching we will allocate the role on a first-come, first-serve basis.
