I am Australian based and I know you want someone local. So this is a "keep me in mind if you need help" proposal. I am currently just finishing up a milk/cheese processing/packaging project in Australia which is ControlLogix. Before that I did a waste water treatment plant in Kerrobert Saskatchewan which was Micrologix and for the same company I was also in China doing the same system but with Siemens S7. I have worked in a lot of industries - manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, waste treatment, waste water and now dairy. What sorts of industries do you work in? What sorts of projects have you done or are looking at - I might be able to help? Current project I am on was(as usual) stuffed up before I got to it. At its core is a servo driven pump that we now know was mis-sized (badly) by a major supplier. Its obvious to me at the moment hey did not do the basic sizing you would expect. They also did a migration from PLC-5 to ControlLogix that was poorly managed and poorly done. Big mistakes in basic specifications and project planing - which is what I see way to often.
