Windows program to set schedules to turn on/off lights via telnet commands

SCHEDULE PROGRAMS:-It is very convenient to be able to schedule programs with windows program. - I will entered sched in the start search box. Next there will open a three panel console. - In the action panel, Create Basic Task will be available. I will click on that. - Now a Task Wizard will be opened. Here need to enter a name and description about any tasks which needs to schedule. - Need to choose a trigger for the task. The trigger dialog for choosing when the task will run opens. - Here will be two options. One to run the task at specified times; or when some event occurs. - If chose a time interval, a dialog to configure the times will open. Make a choice and click “Next”. - The dialog for “Start a Program” will open. Enter or browse to the executable file or script need to run. - Here I can add some arguments for program or script. - Next a summery window be available. Can make any edit on it. Regarding Light on/ off, Alexa can make this possible. But need to configure this properly. It will be better, if you kindly let me know your convenient time to have a discussion with me. Telnet command I have already used. here are the steps to establish a Telnet session: - Need to Dial-up Networking connection to connect to the Internet through your ISP. - Click the Start button, point to Programs, and then click Command Prompt. - In the MS-DOS window, type the following: telnet <POP server name or IP address> 110. - Finally need to press the ENTER key. hello there ^^ im delphi software developer ^^ actually iused to deal with similar jobs just like the one you have mentioned ^^ well i used to deal with telnet using either windows Api or Indy or any other third party like Ics , also i used to code database driven applications ^^ you could check my portfolio for some samples best regards

You could use WinSCP API for managing telnet socket/connection. So you could send login, command, and logout request. Also you can get the response of telnet in clear text format so you could parse it as well and integrate within GUI apps. This API is an open source and is able to connect over either telnet or SSH.
