I have developed a proprietary charting software 12 years ago, which could serve as a launching pad to develop proprietary customized trading platforms. The "innovation" I had then was a novel approach to gauging sentiment on the price action by taking into account the short, medium and long term traders by improving on a technique for multi-time-frame analyses. I am familiar with TradeStation, Multicharts, technical analysis indicators. As you said, it can be done within a day, but professionalism requires me to perform rigorous and proper testing.
