Hi,
I am an electrical engineer with about 12 years of experience and a masters degree in embedded systems. I have been developing embedded systems and control systems for machines for some time now and I have worked on quite a few architectures. I have used ColdFire+, AVR (8 and 32 bit), ARM Cortex-M0/0+/3/4 and R from various vendors, TI's C2000 chips to name a few.
My last project was a control system for a textile machine that controlled two motors (3-phase induction and a bi-polar stepper) synchronously. I also designed the PCB for the system as well. The said system used TI's Hercules ARM Cortex-R chip with N2HET programmable timers (in a VLIW assembly of their own) PWM modules to control the motors and a UART to communicate with the host computer.
I should say this upfront that I have never programmed TI's MSP430 chips before and I have only briefly used IAR before. Though I feel I am fairly confident I can work on both. The bid in negotiable since I would love to work on an embedded systems project, and they are rare. Feel free to contact me in the chat if you like to talk about and see some of my past work, or discuss your project.
Regards,
Safi
