Blizzard creates files on the harddrive. There is a general file that conatins information about all installed Blizzard applications: %PROGRAMDATA%\[login to view URL]\Agent\[login to view URL] In addition to that each application then has a ".[login to view URL]" file inside its directory which contains its version number. What we require is a C/C++ code that parses the file structure so that it can be read or that information can be changed and then saved to a file that Blizzard will parse correctly on its end.

So after doing a little research I came across a tool that supports for reading and saving all release versions of DBC, DB2, WDB, ADB and DBCache of Blizzard's client db files. And it in C#, so we can either convert it to C++ variant or work with it as a wrapper tool. I have intermediate-level knowledge and experience in C/C++. BTW the bid price is just a place holder, we will discuss that later. If you like my proposal than we can discuss about the project in more detail. Looking forward to working with you.
