Hello. I am finally moving out of the hellhole known as California. Although very beautiful, landscape-wise, the state is literally falling apart - high crime, high taxes, more regulations, lots of poverty and lots of super rich annoying elites and I can't take it anymore. So I purchased a property 3000 miles away in the beautiful state of Florida where I have family. I love it! Anyways... I am building a single story, custom 2980 SF home to standard IBC codes: -Pier and beam foundation - 2x4x10 studs - 2x10 floor joists - stucco exterior finish - etc In other words, very standard. I have already drawn the floor plan, roof layout, foundation plan, front elevation and 1 foundation detail. At some point in the near future, I will also need to add plumbing/electrical plans which I have not yet finished. I need to have each layer drawn in AutoCAD to scale, Imperial units. I have some basic AutoCad skills but I don't have the time to do so myself and learn all the program details. I also have the engineering details completed in notes but is not necessary to add to the blueprints at this time. I don't need any 3D modelling/rendering. This is strictly the plans required to get a permit to build. I have already contacted the local building department and I have met or exceeded all current codes for this locality. The time frame I would like the plans completed is within 3-4 weeks.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about Carlifornia; I always thought it was an awesome place because of all the hype it gets over here (I was even named Beverly) but I guess you never really know until you actually live there. Anyway, I believe I am ideal candidate for converting your hardcopy blueprints into AutoCAD plans using the imperial scales. I have been using AutoCAD for five years now including during my three years studying Architecture in college. I will therefore be able to understand the blueprints you provide and draw them in as much detail as you desire.
